While I primarily built this studio for personal work/projects, mostly electronic music, I'd like to open it up to local bands, artists, and anyone who needs any sort of audio recording. With this in mind I've listed below some rates for use of the studio, but remember, I do currently study "full time" and work also, so please contact me at least 7 days in advance of when you'd like to record.
What I can offer:
Bands: I can record a demo for you, though due to size and microphone constraints, I can't record "live," I can however record drums in one take, and then upto 5 guitars/bass guitars and vocals in another, in addition to recording each instrument seperately.
Solo Artists: The size and arrangement of my studio is really suited for the singer/song writers out there, so whether you play an acoustic or electric instrument, I have the perfect environment for a creative recording here.
Electronic/Dance Musicians: If you're into producing any soft of dance music, you're in the category this studio was designed for (and this doesn't contradict the above description either). I have a wide array of software instruments and sample libraries (listed below), in addition my microKORG can act as both a controller and a synthesiser engine seperately.
Post Production: I can also offer post production recording and editing, so if you're working on a project, and you need dialogue replacement, voice-overs, or just to try to clean up the sound you already have, I have the facilities for that here.
Two notes of caution before you contact me: I am located in Mordialloc, in the South-East of Melbourne, so please consider travel time if you live far, and please have a good idea of what you'd like to achieve before your session - practice the songs you want to record, prepare any material you want to edit/mix etc., as there's no point wasting both our time and your money.

Studio Equipment
Below is a list of the gear I have at my disposal in my studio. It *should* be complete and up-to-date, but I'll probably end up buying a new piece of gear and forget to put it up here.
If there's a piece of gear you'd like to use that's not on my list, mic, synth etc, feel free to bring it along (plus any required power supplies/cables) and we can hook it up. |
